It's The Little Things

-
It is not always blatantly obvious like this (LINK TO BLATANTLY OBVIOUS EXAMPLE OF MEDIA BIAS)... but if you just pay attention, you will see a subtle, but strong, pattern of misdirection and manipulation that the old media is guilty of. Consider the following:

While listening to the top of the hour news updates, I noticed a discrepancy between Fox radio news and CBS and CNN radio news.

Fox played the entire sound bite of President Bush's comments on Peter Jennings. It goes like this:

[[ "THE PRESIDENT: Laura and I were saddened to learn about the death of Peter Jennings. Peter Jennings had a long and distinguished career as a news journalist. He covered many important events, events that helped define the world as we know it today. A lot of Americans relied upon Peter Jennings for their news. He became a part of the lives of a lot of our fellow citizens, and he will be missed. May God bless his soul. " ]]

The other networks' versions went like this:

[[ "THE PRESIDENT: Peter Jennings had a long and distinguished career as a news journalist. He covered many important events, events that helped define the world as we know it today. A lot of Americans relied upon Peter Jennings for their news. He became a part of the lives of a lot of our fellow citizens, and he will be missed." ]]

Hmmmm.... guess they couldn't spare the 2 seconds it would have taken to include the rest.

Nope. No bias or hidden agendas there.
