Every time they try to do something like this, it turns out with them misquoting scripture or some other sign of their ignorance and... well, un-godliness.

Well, strictly speaking, the liberals do acknowledge the power of faith in the lives of Americans... they acknowledge it by calling us "theo-cons" and the "extreme religious right" and other such colorful names. They acknowledge it by attacking Christians every single chance they get.

Seriously, though, Senator Obama had better watch out... the DFL base does not like this kind of right-thinking.

Conservatives had also better watch out... this guy, like any other liberal, very likely does not truly believe what he is saying. If he did, he would not be a liberal who claims to believe strongly in God... those being- virtually- mutually exclusive things. He is, very possibly, trolling for "moderates" and religious, old-school democrats.
