Even "Clerics" Are Not Safe From It

Two years... two years!
[[ An Indonesian district court on Tuesday sentenced an Islamic preacher to two years in prison for performing prayers in two languages, which Moslem ulemas claimed tarnishes the purity of Arabic-based Islam.
The court's decision was hailed by hundreds of Islamic boarding school students attending the court session who shouted, "Allahu Akbar!" (God is Great!). ]] (LINK to two years... two years...)
Of course they shouted that... in fact, that's how you know that something really despicable has just happened- when you hear "allahu akbar!"
Two years... in prison... two years.
Yep... we need to turn over the reins of power in the world to these people.

I can't say my heart is bleeding for the cleric, though. When you teach doctrines from sources other than God, it's bound to turn on you in the end. Maybe he'll learn something in his two-year "learning experience"...
