I firmly believe that everyone who is able to, get a permit and carry a gun...the crime-rate would drop overnight. I'd bet on it, and I don't gamble...
MY SHERIFF,Mike Winters, of jackson county oregon has issued thousands of permits to carry concealed.
and i have never even been asked to show a permit if the girl at the bank noticed my side arm under my nice Lands End Wool Sport Coat when i was at the teller window.
she just remarked,
my Dad has a permit to carry his too.
so, i showed her my permit so she wouldn't worry about it.
around here, you can go to the truck stop at night and see all kinds of side arms on hips in the open ,
..... not concealed.
too bad you can't have one in....
