Progress Is Progress

-
Remember, we have no plan in Iraq. We are just over there stumbling around to find oil for Halliburton. There is no plan to get our people out of there... ever. Right?

Well, here's another huge thing that the media is barely noticing.

[[ BAGHDAD, Iraq - Coalition forces handed over control of Iraq's armed forces command to the government Thursday, a move that U.S. officials have hailed as a crucial milestone on the country's difficult road to independence.

"From today forward, the Iraqi military responsibilities will be increasingly conceived and led by Iraqis," said Gen. George Casey, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, at a ceremony.
]]

This is a very big deal... but it won't be trumpeted as such because it makes it look as if there is actual progress in Iraq- and reporting anything like that is strictly verbotten.

Please note that the reporter made sure to point out all the "buts" and "in spite ofs"... quite sickening.
