He Who Laughs At Himself...

You can tell a lot about someone by their sense of humor. For example, if a person likes to laugh at the misfortune or shortcomings of others, you can infer that he/she is a jerk... and if a person can laugh at himself/herself, you can infer that he/she is a REAL person- capable of honest self reflection and not overly serious about their own importance.

This is one of the critical differences between most liberals and most Conservatives. The latter group can- and does, in most cases- laugh at itself. The former groups is so paralyzed with political correctness and hatred that they can not and will not laugh at anything except the bad things that happen to Conservatives.
