Actually, in fairness, I think it's more a case of the mullahs and terrorists are echoing the dhimmicrats' talking points. As to why folks would vote for them, how much play did this story get on the MSM? It's generally necessary to be aware of something for it to influence you, and this sure does clash with the ol' narrative ...
... or should I just take a page fron Senator Kerry's playbook, and tell you that as a Marine, you're obviously too dull and ignorant to have an opinion, anyway? :-P
