Speaking Of "Can't Parody Them"

Frank J., the funniest guy on the internet (usually, except when the liberals are being unintentionally funny... wait that's almost always... never mind), made the astute observation that you could add "muslims are offended" to any news headline and it would not seem out of place.

Then, because of this absolutely surreal story that could cause one's brain to go into vapor-lock, Frank added that you could also add a casualty count to any headline involving a muslim event and no one would notice (e.g., "Children's literacy event held in Saudi Arabia: 12 killed").

Funny? In a sad and twisted sort of way, yes. Also very frightening, when you stop and think that these people kill each other at kite festivals...

Good Lord, how can there ever be peace on our planet while this sort of bizarre and dangerous barbarism thrives in the Middle East? (I know, I know... rhetorical question.)
