Cindy (michael moore's apprentice) Sheehan Update

-
Well... now the DFL (Deranged Far Left) is going to be really upset. Can you imagine the nerve of these people... actually daring to challenge this brave woman?

Their statement, released today:

[[ "Our family has been so distressed by the recent activities of Cindy we are breaking our silence and we have collectively written a statement for release. Feel free to distribute it as you wish. Thanks Ð Cherie

In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford Texas issue: Sheehan Family Statement:

The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.

Sincerely,

Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins

Do you think this will take away any of her credibility with the old media? Honestly... I doubt many of them will even bother to report it.

Umm... is it me or did the grandparents just do exactly what they chastise their Daughter (In-Law I'm guessing) for? Or is it Ok to make Casey's death political when it supports the current Administrations agenda?

Cindy Sheehans response when asked about the dissent within her "family":

"And dissent within my family -- the members of my family that wrote that letter are my in-laws. We have never been politically on the same page. But you know what? These people, I think, are using Casey's death, because they didn't know Casey, they didn't have a relationship with Casey, they didn't go out of their way to get to know him. They never spent time with him. And they can't speak for Casey. I can speak for Casey. My children and Casey's father, the five of us are all on the same page, united in our message of this war was a mistake, and we need to bring the troops home."

I suspect the In-Laws won't be coming to the Sheehan house for Thanksgiving dinner this year lol

Notice, she says 'my inlaws'. Have we even heard from her husband (her inlaws son)? Or, even from her other children? All I hear are words coming from her that sound so rehearsed. I watched her today on TV, talking to the President, and you could tell she was reading from a card!

If I were her inlaws, I wouldn't bother going for any meal.
