I have been meaning to share this one for a while now. I served under General Mattis and I can tell you he is a VERY popular leader of Marines. The man has true grit. You might remember him in the news a while back... something about being in trouble with the P.C. police for saying it was fun to shoot bad guys.

Here's his letter to the Marines of the First Marine Division, given to them as they were embarking on Operation Iraqi Freedom. If this doesn't inspire and motivate you, then you must be dead (or a moonbat).
