The People? Screw Them- We Know Best

-
The unmitigated gall of the California legislature is staggering. Five years ago, the people voted against gay marriage... and these activists just can't let that go.

[[ The California Legislature on Tuesday became the first legislative body in the country to approve a bill allowing same-sex marriages, but the measure faces an uncertain future with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. ]] (LINK to story)

Ahnold had better veto this thing. This vote of theirs is a direct and straight-up spit in the face of the people's vote. It is beyond irresponsible.

"he said he "wouldn't go against the express will of the people" in Prop. 22."

The "will of the people"???

I am sure the California legislature has no idea what he means by that.
