Al-Qaida Is Paying Attention

-
Okay, let's review. We all remember the Tet Offensive, right? And we all remember how the media turned that victory into a defeat for the United States, right? Well, here... right from the horse's mouth... is more proof that the deranged far left is directly complicit in helping our enemy to defeat us.

[[ In a letter to his top deputy in Iraq, al-Qaida's No. 2 leader said the United States "ran and left their agents" in Vietnam and the jihadists must have a plan ready to fill the void if the Americans suddenly leave Iraq.

"Things may develop faster than we imagine," Ayman al-Zawahri wrote in a letter to his top deputy in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. "The aftermath of the collapse of American power in Vietnam _ and how they ran and left their agents _ is noteworthy. ... We must be ready starting now."

"More than half of this battle is taking place in the battlefield of the media," he wrote. "We are in a media battle in a race for the hearts and minds of our umma," or community of Muslims, he wrote.

The line is an apparent reference to a phrase _ "hearts and minds" _ often used by President Bush.

Al-Qaida Ready To Fill "Void" After U.S. Surrender

I've had more than enough of all this crap about the "peace" protesters being "patriots"... and caring about the troops. They are nothing more than soldiers in Al-Qaida's global army of useful idiots.

Period.

Yep... it takes time, but the slow squeeze approach in Iraq is definitely working. It is undeniable that what Husker says is true- the ISF is getting much better and will soon be large and in charge.

An old saying that I think I invented says: "Nothing is so full of victory as patience."

Indeed.

Heh.
