Who Hates Whom More Hatefully?

-
This is a very good topic... and one that we have more than covered in these parts a time or two.

It is painfully obvious to anyone even halfway objective that the vitriolic hate-speech comes almost entirely from the left side of the aisle. The reason for this is simple: the left actually hates anyone on the right. That is a sweeping generalization, but a mostly accurate one.

You see, their arguments are rooted in emotion- and that will always lead to a personal response to disagreement. They feel their points rather than actually believing them intellectually. That, too, will always lead to anger when challenged. The stimulus required to achieve hatred is, by its very nature, deeply personal... and that is the hallmark of the left. That is why their base is made up of so many hundreds of different "causes." It is all personal... and emotional... and "heartfelt"...

Another part of it is that they are, often literally, children (see this discussion)... and children are very much prone to outbursts and fits of anger when they don't get their way. Often, they can be heard to say things like "I hate you!!!"

Anyway, here is a good piece that tackles this fun subject.

Who Hates The Other More?

Ummm... they do. Duh.

Yeah, Gunny...that's a no-brainer. Just hold your nose and surf over to Daily Kos and this becomes evident (although in all fairness, the Rotties can get pretty nasty, too...).

I must admit, though...I wouldn't mind pelting Noam Chomsky with a foul-smelling rotten egg or two. ;)

I think you are right; the behavior of most Leftists seem to be decidedly juvenile in nature--like something a 9th grader would get up to. Of course, the average Lib sees their Stoopid Commie Tricks as "blows against the Empire," thus allowing themselves to look with pride and self-righteousness on something they would ground their kids for doing (Liberals never spank, after all...).

Tsar, out.

Right, spanking is definitely out! Thats a very good point about "blows against the empire". Some of them are completely deluded and don't forget drama queens! "Oh we're in a police state!"

OT, but I'm in the middle of Zell Miller's "Deficit of Decency." Wow.

I want this man as my President.

Tsar, out.
