Here is a good article on Lance Corporal Galen Wilson, a young Marine deep in the fight.

How soon people seem to forget incidents such as the UT Clocktower sniper, and the JFK assasination...both were trained as Marines. A Marine literally wrote the book on being a sniper ("One Shot, One Kill"). Love them or hate 'em, they are the best shots in the world.
