The Pawn Strikes Again

-
We've all heard by now about Pawn Penn's attempt to be a hero.

You know, I was ready to give him a pass on this one. In fact, I was going to say some nice things about him... that at least he was doing something about it and trying to help.

[[ EFFORTS by Hollywood actor Sean (sic) Penn to aid New Orleans victims stranded by Hurricane Katrina foundered badly overnight, when the boat he was piloting to launch a rescue attempt sprang a leak.

Penn had planned to rescue children waylaid by Katrina's flood waters, but apparently forgot to plug a hole in the bottom of the vessel, which began taking water within seconds of its launch.

Asked what he had hoped to achieve in the waterlogged city, the actor replied: "Whatever I can do to help." ]]

So, yeah... I was thinking that maybe he was at least getting his ass out there and trying something, right? But, then... as Paul Harvey says... "The Rest Of The Story"...

[[ With the boat loaded with members of Penn's entourage, including a personal photographer, one bystander taunted the actor: "How are you going to get any people in that thing?" ]] (LINK to story)

Entourage...??? He brought his bloody entourage to a rescue???

Pure fluff... pure air... absolutely NO substance- as per usual. hollywood has again managed to somehow dig below bottom level.

There's a nice metaphore somewhere in that picture...

The root causes of alligators...? That's an easy one... they are a Republican creation, designed to eat poor people.

There's your root, right there.
