Like any tool, though, I think you have to realize the limitations of this.

Here in CA (in a surprising bit of putting victims and the rights of the populace above those of perverts and criminals) we have the Megan's Law database which can be easily accessed online. By entering my address, I can see where the bags of human waste lie in my neighborhood. Its good to know, especially given the nearly 100% recidivism rate among child molesters and other garbage.
