It is often said that they have to find bad news in order to succeed. In fact, they NEED things to be bad- so that they can tell us how bad things are... and how much we NEED them. It is simple math.

Here's their current standard-bearer, hillary clinton, talking about the red hot economy. She employs the time-honored practice known as "spin"... but usually, we think in terms of spinning something negative into something positive. It is truly a classic liberal symposium on making good news bad.

Yeah... and make sure you also focus on how no matter how good we feel now, we will all die someday... and how even though you just got a raise, some people still have lots more money than you do... and how the phone will ring and ruin a perfect bubble bath...
