Murtha's Legacy Grows

No doubt Mr. Murtha's success in the media has emboldened this seditionist- and others like him- to come forward and bray moronic anti-American filth. Hell, why not? We know that the media will listen and give it center stage.
At least this "veteran" is not pretending or hiding his true feelings: he hates the "American military machine," and is not afraid to say so.
He opens with:
[[ I'm a military combat veteran and critic of our government's invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, and I don't support the troops. I'll protest in the streets to end the war, and when the troops come home, I'll do what I can to see that they get the benefits and treatment they need and deserve. That's my contribution to the troops. ]]
After you stop laughing at that crock of BS (it's actually quite normal for that ilk to constantly contradict themselves), you can see what he closes with:
[[ The American military machine has killed and tortured millions of innocent people and will continue to do so until made to stop. I call on my fellow vets to heed Thoreau's advice that we use our lives to "stop the machine" and thereby expiate the legacy of pain, suffering and death we participated in. ]]
Now, by all means go and read all the excrement in the middle... but, be warned: it may give you severe brain cramps- especially when you try to imagine how a "hometown" American newspaper could print this bile under a heading of "Special to The Sun." Yeah... it's "special," all right.

What a charming fellow, eh?
Are you proud of your fruits, Congressman Murtha? Is this the kind of grass-roots program you were envisioning when you started your attacks on the military?
Bravo.

So he was in the military, and according to HIS experience, the U.S. armed forces are filled with their "fair share of losers, brutes, and bloodthirsty thugs" huh? I wonder which catagory he fell into? Or did he possibly fall into a different grouping...coward?
I'll bet he only joined the service to stick the government with his college tab. Sounds about right to me.
As far as that punk, Murtha is concerned, the Marine Corps should create a Wall of Shame, if one doesn't exist already. I would vote for him to be inducted a.s.a.f.p.(Are we sure HE was even in the Corps?; I still find that VERY hard to believe. Maybe it's just me). He must have been AWOL when the covered "Death Before Dishonor" in Basic...
You notice that like Mr. Kerry, Murtha always prefaces his remarks with, "I'm a combat veteran myself" to give himself legitimacy. That might make one begin to listen, but just a few more words from their mouths and most folks with any common sense tune them out. They both are so enamored with themselves and their own voices, they can't hear any dissent.
Just so we're all clear here: this particular article is NOT Murtha's words... it was written by some loser named CHAS CHIODO.
I was just noting that people like this are much braver with their sedition and anti-American behavior now that Murtha has opened the door for them.
