Some are seriously questioning our staying power in the Middle East. I hae no answer to that question. But I do have a comment. (surprised are you?)
Our staying power over the last 30 to 50 years has just about paralleled the time it takes to tell a story on television. That is: We have just about come to think the entre world is here for our entertainment, and we want everything done and over with before the last commercial so we can get ready for the next program.
Not so in the Middle East. If anybody thinks they are cooling off over there, I recommend the following web site as a wake-up call. There are several short episodes of what the 6 year olds are being fed on Muslim TV. NOT just radical Muslim TV, but on Muslim TV in general.
Anybody not satisfied with those few video clips can peruse ythe entire website. They will find Nicholas Berg and several others being separated from their heads just by doing a little research on that site.
