If They Wanted Peace...

...then maybe there could someday be peace. As it turns out, though, they just want the infidels to die.

Don't believe me? Listen to the words of one of their star players:

[[ Fifteen-year-old Abdel Kareem Mohammed Abu Habel sits in an Israeli prison after he tried and failed to martyr himself last year. Would he do it again? Without a doubt, he says.

Abdel Kareem Mohammed Abu Habel agrees with Israeli critics who say that next week's disengagement from the Gaza Strip and parts of the West Bank will do nothing to stop Palestinian terrorist attacks against Israel.

Sitting in his jail cell in the Sharon Detention Center in central Israel, he also said he would never accept peace with the Jewish state, even if Israel eventually pulled back to its pre-1967 borders, behind the so-called Green Line. He doesn't even know what the Green Line is.

The only peace he wants "is to get back all our lands," meaning the entire state of Israel.

"We don't want the Jews on this world," he said
. ]] (Link to story) (Hat tip to Charles Johnson at Little Green Footballs.)

Now... you have to admire their sense of purpose, right? If we could work up that kind of motivation, this war would be over in a few weeks!

If you read this whole article, it will help you to understand exactly what we are facing. This is evil in its purest form... and it is coming for all of us.

Religion of peace, indeed.

If you want to read a first rate book that gives the details on how the Arabs have been throwing a monkey wrench into the peace process since the mid-1950s pick up a copy of "Six Days of War".

I'm about 3/4 through it right now and it has illuminated a lot of things for me.

The current "roadmap" is quite similar to a plan put forth under the Eisenhower admin.

I guess it takes some people longer than others to see the light.
